CUMSA is a family-owned company that has been developing innovative standard solutions for the mold and tooling industries since 1979. With subsidiaries in Portugal, Italy, China, and the United States, along with a distribution network in more than 40 countries, its products reach mold makers and molders worldwide.

In 1998, CUMSA established its first subsidiary, Eurocumsa, in Marinha Grande, Portugal, to better serve one of the world’s largest concentrations of mold manufacturers. Over the following years, the company expanded internationally with the creation of new subsidiaries:

  1. CUMSA Italy, currently located in Bovisio Masciago, near Milan, in 2004.
  2. CUMSA Standard Parts for Molds China in 2009, located in Shenzhen.
  3. CUMSA USA, founded in 2012 and located in Detroit, USA.
  4. At the end of 2017, CUMSA Tech was established in Portugal to manufacture a new line of hydraulic cylinders, offering molders and injectors more possibilities for applying these products to molds.

Innovation through research and development is at the core of the company’s activity. By staying close to its customers, CUMSA gains direct insight into market needs and transforms them into practical, efficient solutions. Its mission is to provide standard components that reduce manufacturing, assembly, and adjustment times, while minimizing downtime and production costs, always with a service-oriented approach that values customer collaboration and feedback.
