Spanish technological excellence shines at K 2025

Alimatic, Galan, Altero, Cumsa and Molecor strengthen their international leadership

From 8 to 15 October 2025, Düsseldorf once again became the world’s epicentre of plastics innovation with the celebration of the K 2025 trade fair, which gathered more than 175,000 professional visitors and 3,275 exhibitors from around the globe. The event confirmed the industry’s main priorities: circularity, energy efficiency, and digital transformation.

Among the exhibitors, around 70 Spanish companies showcased their technology and industrial capabilities. Of these, 10 belong to the amec imapc community, standing out for their high level of specialization, innovation, and international vision. Each participated individually across different halls of the exhibition, reflecting the diversity and strength of the Spanish plastics sector.

Solutions for processing, packaging, and automation

The companies Alimatic, Coemter, Comexi, LR Converting, and And&Or brought their expertise in plastics processing, automation, and flexible packaging, covering the entire value chain.

Alimatic presented advanced systems for material conveying, storage, and dosing, integrating automation and energy control to achieve more efficient production.
Coemter showcased its automatic machinery to produce plastic bags and films, combining speed, precision, and versatility for flexible packaging applications.
Comexi reaffirmed its leadership in printing, laminating, and slitting equipment for flexible packaging, with solutions designed to improve energy efficiency and process digitalisation.

LR Converting introduced its solutions for rewinding, slitting, and handling film and flexible materials, providing flexibility and reliability in the converting process.
And&Or presented its automated and robotic systems for end-of-line and packaging, integrating artificial intelligence and advanced control to maximize productivity and reduce operating costs.

Meanwhile, Cumsa, Industrias Tapla, Galan, and Molecor stood out for their innovations in precision components, technical materials, and sustainable solutions applied to different industrial processes

Cumsa exhibited its standard components for injection molds, designed to optimize demoulding and thermal management, improving reliability and efficiency in production.
Industrias Tapla presented its coatings, adhesives, and flocking solutions for technical components, offering surface and material innovations for demanding industrial applications.

Galan showcased its machinery for spinning, twisting, and winding yarns, cords, and fibers, featuring a high degree of automation and precision adapted to digital production environments.
Molecor impressed visitors with its proprietary PVC-O molecular orientation technology, enabling the production of lighter, stronger, and more sustainable pipes with a reduced carbon footprint.

Recycling and circular economy

In the field of recycling, Altero stood out with its plastic extrusion and recycling systems, enabling the transformation of waste into new high-quality materials while reducing energy consumption and promoting a circular economy.
